You can find here a description of every mandatory attribute you need to complete for your products.

Start with the GTIN. This is the number underneath the barcode, normally either 8, 13 or 14 digits, depending on the type of product.

Product category: select a Product Category that generally covers your product, it does not have to be exact.

Unit type: it refers to the hierarchy level of your product. You’ll likely want to select base unit here, as this is the level that consumers will be purchasing on Amazon.

Global Product Classification or GPC: is a GS1 standard that enables suppliers and retailers to categorise their products in a globally consistent way.

If you are not sure, you can use this GPC search website to find the most relevant GPC. When searching for the GPC, make sure to select the 'brick' level:

> Segment > Family > Class > Brick > Attribute value

Gross Weight: is the weight of the product including all of its packaging in grams.

Depth, height and width: product dimensions of your product in centimetres. See GS1 packaging measurement rules for further clarification.

Then lastly, enter the Organisation Name and the GLN number used in your Amazon account. Then select Information Provider from the drop down, this will be the only avaliable option.

This completes the mandatory attributes for Amazon. Now, let's import this data to productDNA.
